A La Turka Kebap House – Authentic Turkish Cuisine in Lexington, KY

We recently visited Alaturka Kebab House on a friend’s recommendation, and it exceeded all expectations! We came from Indianapolis and not disappointed. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We tried the Adana kebab, shish kebab, and beef döner, we close it with a great kunefe, all of which were absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic and fresh, reminding me of the best Turkish cuisine. If you’re in Lexington and looking. for an amazing Turkish meal with great clean service, as a family of 4 we highly recommend Alaturka Kebab House!

Middle of the night after work wanted to grab something small and this was extra delicious I’ve never tried Turkish food and this was a good first impression. A gyro wrap with fries no drink $13.00 not a bad deal

I'm kinda sad I didn't try this place sooner. The food was absolutely delicious! The man who was working the food truck, whom I assume was the owner, was very nice and explained any dish I had questions about. We ordered saksuka, the lamb shish, chicken shish, and walnut baklava. He also threw in some extra dessert for us. Both platters came with bulgur, which I learned is a type of rice, salad, and lots of pita bread. Everything was absolutely delicious . We will definitely be going back to try some of their other dishes. It's a purple trailer in front of an auto repair shop. So if you're needing new tires or something, you can hit two birds with one stone, lol. Try it!

Went there Sunday a little skeptical as the street it sits on is a bit sketchy. Met Byran the owner and he made us a Lamb Shish and Chicken Shish platters.. the food was just AWESOME.. I have travelled to Turkey and to find a food you find in the restaurants of Turkieh here in Lexington Kentucky is amazing. Overlook all other distractions and focus on the food and you will have a tasty beautiful Turkish food experience.

I’ve been coming to A La Turca Kebab House in Lexington for a few weeks now, and it’s no exaggeration to say this is some of the best food I’ve ever had. Every single dish I’ve tried from the menu has been excellent — from the juicy Adana kebab to the tender lamb shish kebab, the flavors are rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. The hummus and babaganush are fresh and full of flavor, and the falafel is crispy, golden, and just right. Their doner is packed with mouthwatering taste that takes you straight to the heart of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. Craving a quick wrap to go? They’ve got it. Prefer a full platter with delicious sides? They’ve got that too. Whatever you’re in the mood for, they deliver — and they do it incredibly well. Turkish food doesn’t get any better than this outside of Turkiye. The owner clearly puts care into every detail, and it shows — from the food to the warm, welcoming service. This place is more than amazing. A true gem in Lexington for anyone who loves real Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors. Highly recommend!
